The cards and text are small, but there is a function to check the card and enlarge it for reading (hold left trigger on default).
In every proton setting after 6.3-8 (such as when using experimental, 7.0-6, or 8.0-2) when clicking the in-game menu to start a game (clicking versus) the game screen began to rapidly jitter left/right and continued until restarting the game. I notice it does not bring the port-forward yes/no prompt at all which normally there's a pop-up. The jittering is straining on the eyes and could be slowed by lowering the frame rate, but is still noticeable and annoying. I used proton 6.3-8 and was able to start a game without the jittering starting and the port forward yes/no pop-up occurred like normal.
Although Multiplayer was borked in older proton versions it now works.
Can't authenticate with steam servers.
Authentication/login fails.
Requires online authentication too.
Because the game requires online authentication(Which doesn't work) for all modes except the "VS CPU" it's not possible to play the single player campaign.
In short you can only play Custom games vs the Ai, and because the online authentication fails on Proton:
- It is not possible to play the single player campaign.
- Points earned on "VS CPU" games aren't added to your game on your non-steam deck machine.
- Achievements do not unlock.
- No multiplayer of any kind.
With Proton 6.3-8, you need to set the boot option "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%".(if necessary, install d3dx0009) And Proton7.0 does not work. Yet another, online playings are unavailable.
cards are very very small making them nearly impossible to read. Luckilly you can zoom in with right click and then read them fine.
I get an error saying it failed to authenticate session
The first time I tried to boot it it took a while to open, but every time after it opens very fast. Text on cards is tiny, so need to zoom in on cards a lot with right click I would recommend mapping a button to left click with turbo on to make a dedicaded button for double clicking to buy cards easier
I did not run into the issue others have reported where they could only play one match, and had to exit and reopen the game to play another match. I was able to play multiple matches against the CPUs in a row without needing to do that.
- Can not recognize the network. So online play is impossible. When the game boot it pops up a message says like "can not access steam server."
- Every time you finish a locale game( vs CPU ), you have to wait for a few minutes to begin the next game. If you do not wait and create a new room, you will get a invalid room. I guess this issue relates to the network issue. You have to wait the game try to access somewhere and finally get a time out.
One start can only create one game, and you have to restart game if you want to continue.
Not really playable. Can't read the cards, can't play multiplayer, other minor glitches too
Card previews don't show up most of the time making many cards unreadable
Online play doesn't work (fatal error when you try opening it)
