Does not reliably start -- ends up sitting on just a black screen. I've tried various launch options mentioned here. I've tried many different Proton versions, including GE with various launch options suggested for that. I somehow got it to start on day one after many attempts, it seemingly just randomly worked. Then it didn't the next time(s) with the same configuration.
Works out of the box

set TDP to 10W
runs perfectly out of the box

Added an RT toggle on the R5 for a Run toggle, Duplicated R3 to L5 for lock on, D-pad Left and Right on L4 and R4 for target switching. Also made the two trackpads work as "Quick Item" and "Quick Emote" wheels by mapping them as LT or L3 on Press, Right Stick output on Touchpad, A on release.
Disabling some graphical effects and lowering TDP, and even limiting framerate to 30 can dramatically increase playtime, though I only do this when I'm not near a wall outlet, of course.
The game runs in a hidden SteamDeck preset that locks the toggle for fullscreen/windowed and the resolution selector. If the game does not run in borderless by default or runs in a strange resolution on your Steam Deck in Gaming Mode, you can work around this by mapping F11 to a grip button and pressing it to force toggle fullscreen, or by disabling the SteamDeck preset by changing the launch command to "SteamDeck=0 %command%".

I have been able to play without tweaks, cross platform save is working as expected too

It worked perfectly fine. I did put reshade for linux on it just to down it's saturation.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3dcompiler_47=n;dxgi=n,b" %command%
I used the reshade for linux only because the game wass too saturated for my photosensitivity. This one, from what I remember: https://github.com/kevinlekiller/reshade-steam-proton
in fullscreen it made my pc fans run a lot sometimes (even if only briefly and it stopped all times that it was minimized) and it slowed down a bit with very small freezes. But playing windowed in 720p worked perfectly fine with only sometimes making my ram go a bit over what is okay, probably because I was recording gameplay (with steam) while also having many unsuspended tabs in a browser. Closing them usually fixed it. Recording it windowed using OBS (with or without steam recording at the same time) didn't do any sort of trouble under 4 hours of gamming.
The game works amazing and runs smothly if it doesn't have to fight for space in a ram that has 16 gb.

No issues, can just install and play.
tdp limit 11w

Played this for a totally of 12 hours, including a 4 hour multiplayer session. No issues launching and playing.

Still works flawlessy OOTB after 40 hours, Cross-platform co-op too
After playing 40 hours and trying co-op with people on consoles and Switch I have had absolutely no issues. The only thing you might consider an "issue" is when you launch the game it may take around 10 to 20 seconds to see the EAC window popup and then the game will launch. Other than that everything has been flawless.

unset SDL_VIDEODRIVER; gamemoderun %command%
Easy Anti Cheat will not work without unsetting SDL_VIDEODRIVER
in the launch options

I had to swap to GE-Proton10-3 in order to get Cross Save working. Under Proton Experimental, the Epic Games login screen would fail to load and produce an error.

gamescope --adaptive-sync --backend sdl --expose-wayland --framerate-limit 120 --immediate-flips --output-height 2160 --output-width 3840 --prefer-output DP-3 --rt -- gamemoderun %command%
Super happy with the game, im so glad the devs actually cared to make it work for linux. Theres a bit of a loss in FPS but thats all.
Works OOTB without any issues whatsoever

PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 PROTON_ENABLE_HDR=1 %command%
Had some issues getting the aspect ratio correct on a 4k tv but a quick handle-jiggle of the settings fixed it
On proton-ge10-1, I could not get the controller to work with the wayland mode/hdr on. steam input doesn't work on wayland, and turning it off to use native controller input, the buttons were scrambled and unusable even after tweaking some options in the gamepad section of control.exe. I switched to proton 10.0-1 which doesn't recognize the environment variables or use wayland yet and it worked fine with steam input, sans HDR
Cannot link my tim epic account for cross platform save, get an error any time I try
Overall, works fantastically especially as a pre-release, just some bleeding edge features aren't hammered in yet on the wine/proton side.
Absolutely no issues whatsoever

The game runs smoothly without tinkering the settings. I changed the setting to high and still the game runs stable 60fps. Lowering the fps may able to extend the battery up to 3 hours.

Lengthy launch (especially first launch since it installs many things) but plays very well after, close to locked 60.
Others mentioned changing the proton version but I had no issue with the default Steam settings.

gamemoderun %command%
Launching with Proton is a must to get this game to run as it does not run natively, but that's what Proton is for. Using gamemoderun %command% as a matter of course for any game I play, especially newer titles. Game runs great the few minutes I played before posting this bit.
SteamDeck=0 %command%
solved by using the below command

Game is more than playable! It runs smoothly and supports HDR on Steam Deck. Most would enjoy playing the game after tinkering.
Screen settings were not configured but the game defaulted to 1280 x 720 after adjusting minor settings like turning off V-Sync and Motion Blur.
Messing with the menu settings outside of full screen/resolution lead to the game defaulting to 1280 x 720 randomly. Restarting the game fixes this problem and it plays in full screen afterwards with no issue.
The game is more than playable assuming you use the latest Proton version as mentioned. Without it, the game cycles through the beginning and will not boot. The game takes a minute to load or so but then works pretty much flawlessly.

Game required minimal tinkering. It apparently has EAC so I thought that might be an issue but apparently not.
%command% --use-d3d11
Proton experimental failed launch, 9.0-4 worked perfect for me with launch options.

Works flawlessly ootb so far
Works great, will play coop later with friends and submit another report if any issues arise.
starts into black screen with not responding notification and freezes

Runs natively I think
