Raing drops on 1st person view some times looks like green strips of laser
Time to time some minor issues like not able to cant a weapon. (Have heard from a friend that this also happen on Windows.)
When crash high amount of VRAM has been used. Like 10 to 11.5 GiB.
Crashing happen also on 9.0.4, Hotfix or Experimental Proton.

Be careful, it's really easy to lose your gear due to crashed, even when you are supposed to be safe.

Due to crashes while spawning, you can lose all of your current loadout.
From what i can tell, it feel like i am missing about 50% of the performance. My best guess is Denuvo Obfuscation / EAC impacts performance on Linux majorly.
They get better. Latest Patch helped a lot.
The Devs are very eager to keep you playing and enjoying the game, even when you lose stuff due to Bugs, they'll probably take care of you!

With my setup, the game runs better than it did on windows. I believe given some time, the typical gamer would in fact enjoy it.

if launched with no commands, after toggling fullscreen on/off a couple times it would enter a loop of entering and exiting fullscreen. fixed with gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -w 2560 -h 1440
Could not interact with game at all. fixed with --force-grab-cursor
frame drops happen after a couple hours of play, if framerate is capped lower than 100 the game becomes virtually unplayable. With framerate uncapped, the drops are not noticable at all, and game plays beautifully
I have a very minimal and customized setup, which has caused me to put more effort than i originally intended, but the end result has been phenomenal.

Mouse sometimes escapes from fullscreen window, causing you to click outside of the game. This is really annoying when it happens in a gunfight.
Not very well optimized, but can be made ok with settings tweaks
Received a two day ban for "scripting" after ~38 hours of playing. Googling suggests that this is in error due to playing on Linux. Submitted a ticket, hoping for a quick response.

Eventually received a ban for "scripting" after 250+ hours.
Works great, until you get banned.

Works Great!
Game runs as expected, no extra steps required as of Game Version 0.3.0.2.
Developers have said that they allow linux, although it may be flagged by anticheat. If so, send a request online and they will unban. Game is still in Early Access so is relatively unoptimised, but goes for both linux and windows.

Work with no issues using these settings.

Runs pretty well with my setup. I get 60-70FPS with FSR at Quality and frame generation. Run all settings on low except Texture I have that set to meduim. I haven't had any Anti-Cheat issues yet but I've currently only have played for 8 hours.

For some ppl the some times appearing lags would be annoying, but its still playable.
Less FPS than on Windows, some lags

Game is notorious for optimization and stability issues, however, lowering the graphics settings, adding the first two launch options listed, and going to game properties > compatibility tab > and check the box for "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and selecting your desired proton version seems to have solved CTD/black-screen system lock-up issues. Other users have reported being falsely banned by the game's anti-cheat for using Linux. I will try to update notes if I experience this as well. All in all, very minimal adjustments needed to play so far.

2 days bug by anti-cheat for using linux
Even clear instalation of Linux (in my case CachyOS + KDE de) will result in a ban in this game

Doesn't run on Intel Arc 770A
Tried compiling own mesa drivers (someone suggested in some article), but still wasn't able to play. I have the same issue with Ready or Not (the problem seems to be the unreal engine).

AI frame generation must be turned off on RTX 4000+ series cards or the issue described below will cause severe artifacts to the point the game is unplayable.
There are parts of the map that will cause Vulkan shaders to crash (Tiger Bay and Kiu Vongsa so far for me), however, if you have your settings set up correctly, this will not be much of an issue as the game will simply freeze for a few seconds and then you can keep playing, this only happens once per game session.

Disable DLSS, do not run any screen recording software, and the game is very playable. Freezes generally happen only once per session.
--launcher-skip --intro-skip --skipStartScreen -dx12 -USEALLAVAILABLECORES
Settings have to be tweaked, especially on 4000+ series NVIDIA graphics cards, particularly DLSS has to be disabled.
The game does not crash, but the vulkan shaders crash at specific locations in the map. This causes freezing, but if settings are tweaked correctly you can continue to play the game after this.

While it works great on my current hardware ... I had an intel i5 8600k previously, there was no way to get the game to launch on that :(

After 0.2 update there are some GPU driver crashes or stuttering issues

Game worked fine for quite some time. Now it's non-playable.
Since about December 2024 the game stopped working. I could start the game but once started and after a few seconds (maybe 30) crashes my entire xfce4 desktop. It kicks me out to desktop GUI login screen and when I log in it is as if it is my first excfe4 login - nothing (other than autostart apps) is running anymore.

After the 0.2 patch, the game was crashing regularly. There was also regular stuttering after some time in the game. After updating launch options, the problems seems to be gone and the game runs great.

It just works as far as im concerned. Even in remote play
I got killed at starter vilage again

Easy Anti Cheat will occasionally throw an error when joining a server. This is easily corrected for the entire play session by using Steam's "Verify integrity of game files" tool in the game's properties menu.
Game is in early access and the engine is not optimized. Game will perform worse than expected on any operating system. Aside from that, bugs and crashes are minimal and easily worked around.

Gamed played fine out of the box installed with steam. I had 1 crash that seemed to be graphical. Restarted and continued. No issues after that. Played on normal proton

Game locked up a few times during my first few raids, but seems to have gone away

Occasional anticheat errors will require reverifying files, but otherwise perfectly playable.

UE5 Crash before first splash screen
I have tried many different proton version, different launch options, wayland and xorg, nothing works.
since the last Patch I get a crash, so that I have to restart the whole saystem

Works fine, just EAC sometime errors when you start the game, mostly in Proton experimental. Check game files and you should be fine. There is a FSR FrameGen issue, could be from the game itself.

Usually between 60-100 fps, occasionally drops down and feels laggy. Mouse and keyboard inputs occasionally laggy as well.

Runs great, only had 1 crash in about 6 hours since the update, but I was spamming through graphics settings while deploying to try to get more FPS. I think I'd give that one to them, as it's worked perfectly since, and the game appears to run exactly like Windows (where I put about 180 hours into the game).

The game works as intended. Fast load times and stable gameplay. Even DLSS Frame Gen works flawlessly ("proton-cachyos (native package)" ONLY, based off of my testing). Now I can play at 100+ fps@4K. The performance is almost dead on par compared to Windows now.

With the way the Game performs Currently it is Borderline Unplayable for a Large amount of Linux users.

In the low 100's on a Windows KVM on a Mix of Low and Med. Struggiling to stay at 60 on Linux on all low, 720p
Game would sometimes lock itself to 30FPS. Only Fixable with a restart.
Ran fine in a VM

gamemoderun %command% -dx12 --launcher-skip --intro-skip --skipStartScreen
Didn't customize, but a warning - don't change Steam inputs while the game is loading; it will freeze the game and won't force close (requiring either a reset or switching to desktop mode)
With the launch options, the game will seem to crash and go back to library game page (with the launch button not saying running,) but would continue after waiting a few seconds.
Once loading in, the game would drop to 10 FPS with all graphical settings set to the lowest.
However the game crashes, will also hard lock SteamOS, requiring a forced restart. Switching to experimental allowed to get past the loading screen into the game and using the launch options allowed to load into the game, but game crashes as soon as the game loads the graphics.
I was slowly getting farther the more improvements I changed or included, but using all the mentioned tries bared no fruit into being able to actually control your player.
