Runs perfectly out of the box
Game crashes every time when opening "options" menu in-game
Set your options in the main menu, not in-game, and you will be fine

Works fine out of the box
Everything worked fine

control with keyboard and mouse feels weird, but i don't have a controller...

Works great out of box
No issues encountered.

Game doesn't properly close when exited, requires force closing via Steam or system monitor. Didn't test mouse+keyboard, only a Series X controller, which was fine for the length of the tutorial level.

Game starts, but no graphics visible
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Without "PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%" in the launch options the game opens a black window for a split second then immediatley closes. With it, I can hear the opening movie playing (the game runs fine on my Steam Deck so I can tell), and the game seems to get to the main menu if I hit Escape, but it just shows a black screen.

Can't open options when in-game, the game will crash every time

Crashing when in-game and opening Options
There's really no need to tinker. Runs fine out of the box with both GE and Steam's Proton. The only issue I have is when I open the Options menu while in-game (not in the main menu) the game crashes.

Max settings, 60fps, no issues. Very stable.

Crashes randomly after a few alt-tabs in/out of the game
Other than the occasional crashing which can be prevented by just not alt-tabbing out, the game runs perfectly fine so far.
This game works out of the box. It's a faithful port from the original game so the wonky camera from yesteryear is there, but it's playable.

You have nothing to do for running the game. Everything works fine!
