Works flawlessly without any tweaks

Not playable
Only building mode and test drive is working. Joining a game results in an infinite loading screen. As read on other sources and as confirmed by the devs, they do not support EAC via Proton yet. "But maybe considering it after getting controller support sorted out". I read this as: No Linux support at all for quiet a long time.

Game runs fine but cannot connect to online matches

Singleplayer Testing Range works fine, Multiplayer is unsuable
Crackling while in the initial loading screen, after that its fine
In Multiplayer its impossible to get less than 1000 ping, even tho every other player in the lobby is fine (So a Linux/Proton specific Issue)
Since the Game is a Online Multiplayer Game exclusively, its currently unplayable.

Fun if you dont care about multiplayer... on a multiplayer game
Multiplayer is unplayable beause of a huge latency that's not present on Windows under the same machine.
You can build & test your robocrafts (didn't know they were called that) but if you want to play, good luck doing anything because everything is server-sided and you can't even move

It's good if you don't want to play with others
You can build & test your robots to your heart's content, however, if you want to play with others... yeah, tough luck. You can get into a multiplayer match, but by the time you can get into your robocraft (they were called that?) all the poinst will already be captured

Menu won't load
Infinite loading after login.

Game runs fine but cannot connect to online matches
(Robocraft 2 Demo version of game)

Bandwidth is less then what it should be and the game client can't keep up as a result. The game also shows the ping being around 1050ms regardless of which server is used. Also it feels as though networking is somehow tied to rendering because when I drop resolution to increase FPS, bandwidth increases proportionally and CPU use only mildly increases but the issue still persists
Because only multiplayer networking is broken, robocrafts built by other players can be downloaded from the CRF2 and robocrafts can still be built, tested and saved online.

20-30fps with drops to 10
works out of the box. but performance is poor.

Launcher will crash
You will have to install the launcher on a windows machine (can be a VM), then copy the folder (C:\Games¿Robocraft2) to your linux machine and add it as a non-steam game. Enable proton experimental and then play.

You have to install the game on Windows (or ask your buddy for game files in my case). Then import StartRobocraft2.exe from the game directory into Steam and enable Proton Experimental. The game should then boot fine. Multiplayer not yet tested as I am from the EU and servers are currently have to high of a ping to connect.
No controller support is available yet as far as I can tell, used keyboard/mouse

Pre-Alpha version ! cannot install the game through steamos but once installed on a Windows then transfered to steam it works great , you just need to add the startrobocraft2.exe in steam then launch it .
with the pre alpha you need to connect from a web browser
Game installs, but EAC prevents robocraft from opening.
We need to pressure the devs to include linux support

Doesn't launch period. Game uses EAC, and it's not planned to be released on linux.

Game's not launching, used the official playtesting version, launched them through wine, various protons, and GE, none work.
