Works perfectly
The graphics is quite non-optimized, but the game itself works without issues.

Works with Steam right out of the box.
After 16 minutes I decided to ask for refunding
The framerate was more like a slideshow
Fonts didn't look right always
If I ever upgrade my graphics card I will reconsider this unique game
This game has no cloud save and my old Windows save files were, of course, not available.
Game didn't loaded at first, but it was because the library was in a NTFS hard drive. Using the Proton GitHub Wiki fix for NTFS permissions made the game run.

Works perfectly without tinkering.
I haven't noticed any of the issues reported in the below reports. Plain Proton install from Steam without custom settings worked perfectly, I get steady 100 FPS.
There is a dialog right at the start of a new game. You have to press F to make it go away, but it never worked. So the game is stuck.
Performance issues make impossible to play
Constant low framerate 10~15 fps
I tried various Proton versions, including GE variants, none of those were able to solve the issue.

Massive performance issues
9 FPS in Linux | 110 FPS in Win
Worked fine. No tinkering needed. Played for 80+ hours. Very stable. Alt-tabbing works fine also.
Very bad performance makes it hard to look around or do anything.
Game has worked really well out of the box, no tinkering required.
Works perfectly out of the box
There is some rare glitches with the water and the boat jumping around after it updates, but it is reported on windows installs as well and unlikely to be related to proton. Have yet for it to significantly affect gameplay for me personally.
