Broken TAA
better performance than native but no TAA
No issues. Works great.

Cannot get game to launch at all
Default recommended, experimental, and 7.0-6 are all borked. Game will attempt to launch but will almost instantly go unresponsive.

gamemoderun %command%
Massive blur when using TAA.
Appears to work well in the main branch of the game, not tried experimental branch on linux yet.
Crashes on using experimental proton. Use 7.0-4.
Works Great
Everything works out of the box.
Ran perfectly!
Ran Proton 7.0 through Steam, it automatically installed any dependencies needed, ran the installers, and then the game opened buttery smooth, performance was, arguably, better than Windows performance (I've ran both native Windows and now Steam Proton versions of Sprocket), overall, even with low playtime, this feels perfect!
Works perfectly
In my previous review, I had forgotten to disable the compositor before starting the game up. Now that I've done that the game runs even smoother then it does on Windows.
Will loose focus if in windowed mode
If you start driving a vehicle or shoot one, it will crash the game
Works well with Proton 6.3-8
Tabbing out of exclusive fullscreen causes the game to crash. Borderless window works well.
Thumbnail images of custom tanks are not displayed.
Runs out of the box
Seems to be equivalent to running this game via Windows - I didn't notice anything different.
It just worked.
The framerate is way too low in order for it to be playable, with massive stuttering also being an issue
Some tanks don't load their thumbnail images and loading a tank was a bit slower then usual
Framerate was about half of what it should have been. Normally gets about 50-70fps on Windows, however getting 20-30fps here.
There's a chance that hardware or configuration might play into this, but regardless; the game runs worse on Proton/Linux then natively on Windows.
It runs with absolutely no problems at all. No effort needed. A+.
Think this has to do with it being an early alpha game, occasionally when I was destroyed while testing the game interface would disapear and I couldn't go back to the platform.
Works out of the box with Proton 6.3-6
Occasionally crashes, however it seems to have specific triggers that are an issue with the game rather than linux, though I haven't tested on windows to confirm
