After about an hour, frame rate drops and restarting the game fixes it.

Had to lower graphics settings a little bit, but runs pretty good otherwise
Not sure if it's because the game is in early access or not, but I get a lot of framerate drops in certain areas, most of the time it's smooth though
This game does have a bit of a framerate problem unfortunately, but I noticed turning down Ambient Occlusion specifically helped me go from 45 FPS to 60 FPS about 90% of the time. Every now and then the framerate will drop to 55, but for a game like this, it's not even close to unplayable. By the time I was 2 hours in I was already used to it

Due to the fact that the game is in early access and most likely is raw or just has poor optimization, even with the lowest settings there are FPS drops. The maximum FPS dropped to 19.
When I opened the guide via the Steam button, the game of the night terribly slowed down and crashed once. It most likely crashed because I pressed the Steam button too many times.
If you move slimes from the base to additional areas that are purchased in the game, then at least at the base you can avoid a drop in FPS.

Lags a little bit less on proton expirimental, lags entire pc on proton 9.0-4
Runs like it's meant to
Capped at 60Hz

works awesome without issues just a little laggier than windows, swag
Works flawlessly without any tweaks

While my laptop doesn't like playing a game so demanding, it works the same way it does on Windows. My big gaming rig also has no problems.
It's the same as on Windows. Great.

Сразу из коробкию
Никаких багов небыло обнаружено. Всё шло гладко, контроллер от XBOX и плаёный для PS3 спокойно работали.

Works out of the Box. Great Game.

Game ran without any problems
When initially launching the game the resolution was wierd (920x1080), fixable trugh the ingame setting to 1920x1080 or whatever your native screen supports

I added the game using the Heroic launcher to steam and when I launched the game via the shortcut that was displayed to me in the steam library, the game save is deleted when I shut down the game (when I go to the menu during the game and load the save again everything works). When I launched the game from Heroic Games Launcher the save works as it should.
I purchased the game on Epic Games and played it through a shortcut created in my Steam Library with the Heroic Games Launcher, if I had the game on Steam (or used another way to launch the game) the problem with saving would not have occurred.
gamescope -h 756 -H 1080 -U -f -- %command%
+50 FPS with gamescope AMD FSR upscaling at high settings
Doesn't start at all.

Works absolutely flawlessly as if it was running natively.
Cloud saves aren't supported yet
Only problem is no cloud saves currently, but that will be fixed in the future as it already has the cloud saves icon.
i run, i poot slimes off of cliffs, all is well
A bit of lag when looking at medium to large groups of entities
Just plain doesn't open.
Press play, says running for a moment, then goes back to play.
sometimes one of my movment keys just get stuck and wouldnt work until i restart
worked out of the box
Runs OOTB for me, no graphical issues
After around 3 minutes gameplay FPS turned normal with no noticable issues
Works great out of the box on Steam Deck. Did not change any default settings and had no issues.
Overall a great game!
played exactly the same on both windows and linux
Your good to go!
Works out of the box. No cloud saves yet. Another review here posted about transfering save files so I won't rehash it.
All good. It runs great.
Runs without any problems
Mixed medium/low settings, refresh rate/FPS cap at 40, TDP Limit 9
Slight stuttering when lots of slimes are on screen, especially in the Conservatory
It is totally possible to play this game at default settings at 30 FPS, but with the graphics changes and TDP limit, it is easy to enjoy a 40 FPS experience that is stable 95% of the time.

Performance is sub-optimal, however not unplayable
Very noticeable screen tearing
Game works fine out of the box on both PC and Steam Deck, so far. Will update if I encounter issues.
I made no changes to launching or anything; however, note that the game currently does not support cloud saves.
You can swap over saves yourself between Steam Deck and Windows PC: Windows: C:\Users[NAME]\AppData\LocalLow\MonomiPark\SlimeRancher2\Steam Steam Deck: /home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/1657630/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/LocalLow/MonomiPark/SlimeRancher2/Steam
Just copy the folder inside between the two until cloud saving is added.
Consider playing with the graphics settings to get a mix of appearance and performance that works for you; the default Medium runs perfectly fine but I've found the game can handle 40FPS just fine with most settings set to High as well.
Overall runs well.
Minor stuttering when loading an area for the first time, though this appears to be an issue for all users, not exclusive to proton.
No issues whatsoever with playing the game as of now
loads to the title screen no problems, but the menu is not displayed, nothing can be selected, and cannot get in game.

alt-tab not working
FPS not reaching above 100 FPS on any settings.
couldn't get it to work more than about 90-100 FPS on any settings. with my hardware this is very odd. on 144 monitor it was sad.
Lowered graphic settings to lowest
Does not support simulaneous mouse/keyboard and controller (eg. Flick Stick)
Runs out of the box. It is hard to say whether the frame rate between 70-120 is due to proton or just my hardware, considering early access
