Campaign intro video got audio crackles
Work in progress to fix audio. I find it unplayable at current state.

Loading games that have significant progress/time in multiplayer and singleplayer often take 5-10minutes to load. New games load in udner 2 minutes.
I don't think single player campaign or survival ever crashes, but multiplayer is very prone to crashing. Seems to be related to map generation, as some maps/games crashed less than others 🤷♂️
Multiplayer games often become out of sync with each other where players start seeing totally different things. Sometimes its just minor issues the other player seeing your hero or units die when they are infact alive. Other times this can escalate to where the swarm gets past your defenses in the other player's client, which causes you to lose the game despite holding them back on your client 😕
Generally runs pretty well, but the crashes and multiplayer desync make it very hard to enjoy multiplayer games.

Works out of the box without any tinkering.

I completed the entire campaign, played survival and multiplayer modes without any issues.
About performance: using default video settings, with my computer specs playing on ultrawide (3440x1440) I was between 60 & 100 fps before the final wave with half of the map occupied.

1.0 version full campaign playthrough without crashes. Playthrough of survival mode with all three factions, no issues whatsoever.

Had to force dx12 mode to play the cutscenes (videos), issue similar to other Unreal Engine games (and same fix). Can be worked around by skipping the cutscene, but otherwise crashes if the video plays long enough.
Updating my review for the 1.0 release of the game and how to play videos (same workaround as KoFXV and similar games). Unlike other games, the cutscenes here are not a deal-breaker because they can be skipped, but it'd better if everything worked without tinkering.

Crash upon campaign or mission start
During campaign start, subtitles for cutscene played, but no sound and the camera stayed on the campaign map. Alt+F4 closed game without system crash. Running Kubuntu.

Works great!

Ce joue agréablement avec la dernier version de proton GE malgré quelque petit freez de temps en temps
freez légèrement lors de certains actions

There are some issue with performance. became laggy after one minute
everything is looking good in the first minute, then it is turning laggy

Tried on Proton Experimental as well as recommended, and on lowest graphics settings. Everything was laggy
unplayably laggy

Game crashed on common Proton
Will update report. Have played on Windows and Linux, no issues in Linux thus far.
Had a couple evening sessions, flawless, max graphics. Even the buggy slow startup is now fixed. Gorgeous game and plays well.
Loading mission 2 of the campaign consistently results in:
[drm:amdgpu_job_timedout [amdgpu]] *ERROR* ring gfx_0.0.0 timeout
Once again this gorgeous game is working fine. Now it has a small delay at startup during its black screen, but then starts successfully.
The game launches, however it freezes when loading the game I've tried multiples version of proton
Freezes with black screen at initial game start, luckily it doesn't bring down the whole PC or Steam and can be closed easily.
I haven't reported here (although I should have), but I did play successfully on this PC 6-12 months ago and it only had an occasional black screen freeze when creating a new game. But I guess with some stack upgrade, at this exact point in time it wholly freezes at startup with black screen. Shame. No idea if it's caused by some recent updates of the game or of Steam stack.
Playthrough with all three factions, used factions' full tech trees and abilities, no issues whatsoever.
Crashed only once on first launch, like many other games, which is why I though it needed to switch to experimental, in which I have been doing my whole playthrough.
However it seems to work now on default Proton as well, so this first-launch crash may be a different issue, certainly unrelated to this game.
I've been playing off and on for 5 hours or so over the last week or two. Game runs seemingly flawlessly.
Made a custom WASD layout that works great. I can make groups, select groups, quickly get to the keep and build. It works quite well!
I have been playing on easier difficulty. Unsure how performance will get during massive hordes but so far it's been great.
Flawless! Did not encounter any bugs yet, everything worked so far.
I could not find any errors / bugs / problems while playing. Game works perfectly as far as I can tell.
Ran using GE 6.18-02
While in an active game, if I quit to the main menu and tried to either load a game or start a new game, I would be stuck at the loading screen with background game music in the background. The loading screen would never complete. alt+tab and stopping the game from steam and then restarting the game would allow me to load/start a new game. After three complete games I've experienced no other odd behavior.
Started. Used menu. Adjusted audio/graphics settings. Have played several games and loaded saved games.
Starts and renders menu correctly although mouse moves choppy at about 10 FPS. Freezes with black screen when starting game.

Used Proton 6.21-GE-2 because some other people mentioned to try it

I almost destroyed my computer trying to make it work
I recommend this video:

It didn't work for me. But I learned a lot.
I think I had a problem with wine.
I'm new to Linux.
But the important thing is... can someone help me make this game work?
Please please !!! :)

Contrary to most opinions, this game does not run very well at all
- Game only ran with experimental, most GE versions (even the by many people here recommended 18-GE-2 version).
- Option menu would crash on apply.
- Couldn't move the camera with the mouse or arrow keys.
- Clicking on units wouldn't work.
- Couldn't place buildings
In general, the game has not performed in any shape or form for me.
Note: Game freeze with Proton-6.19-GE-2, but with earlier versions it runs perfectly!
Runs perfectly
Runs perfectly under Linux. Tested with both Proton Experimental and Glorious Eggroll.
runs perfect
Works without problems
Game runs incredibly well right out of the box.

Basically the same experience as a native game, just press play and enjoy.
Fantastic single player game. Runs well on Linux
Some occasional stutters that last a second and can keep scrolling the map if a key was held down. As this is early access, and the game was released on the day of this report, unsure if it's simply a bug on any OS. Didn't detract from the experience much though
