Fun game, runs absolutely fine on Linux. Game appears to run smoother than on Windows too. No tinkering needed and no lag/stuttering.
Game appears to run without having to set proton in game settings.
This allowed me to fire chaff and flares by using steam input, mapped r 3 and l 3
Ran the game at 3 watts, runs around 30fps
Tinkering is required for a playable experience on steam deck as an escape key is not mapped and so the exit/pause menu can't be brought up mid game by default
Works without any problems.
All input devices (VKB Gladiator NXT and Arduino DUE -based button box) recognized and working properly in game.

Logitech Joystick not working (?)
Logitech Extreme 3D Pro seems to be detected but doesn't work - the name appears but even the calibration menu doesn't respond to inputs.
Joystick support
This is (afaik) a single developer and looks great! Can't wait to see if these bug are fixed in the future.
Twisting joystick and throttle rocker not responding.
Game works perfectly except for controller support. My Thrustmaster HOTAS X gets recognized perfectly except the joystick twisting and throttle rocker. I find it quite unplayable without these.
Works perfect, no tinkering needed. Recognized loghitech F310 but not logitech extreme pro 3D
Runs better than expected
I strafed an innocent city with my fighter jet, I'm 10 years old again.
FPS between 115 and 120(limited) at 4K, no AA. Xbox One controller worked normally.
HOTAS requires setup & works great, not tested head tracking. Initially didn't save settings but that seems to have fixed itself
Awesome game, works very well

Works out of the box
I didn't have to tweak a thing. I'm running Fedora 35 with Wayland and the default AMD driver. Steam is installed from Flathub. The game worked on my ultrawide in a multi-monitor setup. The game sounds fine. There's no music, but I think that's intentional (early access and all).
My Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS also worked. Though getting everything bound and calibrated was a little tricky. The game doesn't respect deadzones while in the key binding menus, so the cursor starts flying all over. Because of this, its easy to screw up calibration. The mini joystick on the throttle was the biggest source of pain here. In game, the deadzones seem to work fine.
I've got about 60 minutes logged. As with all flight sims, most of that time was spent in menus fiddling with key binds. The sorties I did fly worked well.
