Installed the game on NTFS drive, but it refused to start. Traced the problem to file permissions. Re-installed the game on linux-native filesystem (ext4), after which it runs without problems.

After changing graphics settings there were heavy artifacts and/or missing objects. After restart they disappeared and haven't reappeared.

The game switches out of fullscreen within 5 min on starting the game, forcing to cycle out of and back to fullscreen. Using xfwm4 as window manager.
