Occasional stuttering that seems to abate over time.
Rare crashes when viewing upgrade tree screen.
Smooth sailing
wine will give a fatal error sometimes when using the beacons, not very often though
bosses will occasionally stop attacking and become unkillable, most likely just a general bug
had to put graphics on p low to get over 60 fps, granted my gpu is beginning to show its age, but the game doesnt look amazing, so most likely not super optimized, but not unplayable by any means, got minor performance by switching to GE
Played through the game without any issues.

Sometimes I had some random frame-drops, but it seems I have fixed it with DXVK_ASYNC=1
DXVK_ASYNC=1 mangohud %command%
At the beginning of the game, there will be some frame drops and freezes. Wait for a while and try to turn on FSR to alleviate the situation.
DXVK_ASYNC=1 LD_PRELOAD="$LD_PRELOAD:/usr/\$LIB/libgamemode.so.0" gamemoderun %command% -dx11
Minor stutters very rarely.
On directx 12, probably had stable 30 fps. But forcing directx 11 usually gives stable fps at ~45, and some areas down to 35 fps.
Very rare stutters, only occured once during a boss fight.
Activated ingame FSR to hit stable 45FPS
I tried using a few other versions of proton and the game would crash to desktop after a few minutes of play consistently. 7.0rc3-GE-1 works great for me though, hasn't crashed since.
The game runs without any issues so far. When the game boots the first time it will have everything set to Ultra. Still playable, but for a smoother experience I would recommend to reduce the quality settings a bit.

DXVK_ASYNC=1 mangohud %command%
very slight stutters at the start but async helps a lot
Fun experience
-dx11
Used protontricks to install VCredist2019
Not sure, seems to look better on youtube.
Stuttery in the beginning, much better after shaders were cached

mangohud gamemoderun %command%
The game could not display videos due to missing codecs.
I just had to install vcredist2019 using Bottles to get it running.
