Currently the default Proton used is the latest (9.0-2), and the game doesn't detect Deck's controller inputs. I switched to Proton 8.0-5 and everything worked as expected.
Finished game without issues
Used to have problems with cutscenes and light blue textures. No issues now.
it doesn't work via heroic(Epic).You need to add exe file to steam directly.

if you're getting the graphical glitch with foreground elements being replaced with a light blue color as mentioned in other reports, just add PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% to the launch options (gamemoderun is just something I always add as it often helps and I've never seen it harm performance)
Default proton works. It's just the beginning videos prior to the game menu that are discolored. Proton experimental plays all 100%. ALSO. It's better if you change the setting "interface scale" to zoomed.
In order to play this on a SteamDeck ou need to install the GE version of proton. I used GE-Proton7-28 which through ProtonUp-QT from the built in Discover pacakge manager on desktop mode.

With default Proton version the videos will only be played as a placeholder. GloriousEggroll Proton makes those videos work.
The missing textures completely kill the presentation off the game
Tree and other vegetation textures in the foreground are missing and are replaced with a plain blueish color.
Tried 3 different Proton versions including Proton-6.21-GE-2.Cutscenes only work with Proton-GE too.
Use the latest Proton-6.21-GE-2
Gameplay works with standard proton but no cutscenes/videos displayed so I used 6.21-GE-2.

As usual, videos does not play on stock Proton. To make them work you need to use latest Proton-GE
Menu loads but black screen after save file select
After a bit you can start hearing the music and if you press the a button a circle will appear in the lower right and fades away, but the screen stays black.
No modifications to proton,add prime-run %command% to launch options for nvidia optimus and it becomes one click run
Crashed on the first cutscene, afterwards no problems
