This timekiller works just fine under Linux (at least for me).

had to use this sketchy fix https://gist.github.com/DareFox/e02efb02438e7b7720fc91bcdd2786a8

the game itself is fun but the memory leaks would make it unplayable for the average player
memory leak after 20 minutes of playing
game engine related memory leak

You can play it just fine but you have to fix the sound

external controllers had odd movement
visual effects seemed to lag the game, not sure if it's proton or game

Game runs fantastic, only problem is the taskbar will stay on top regardless of fullscreen or not.
Game seems to suffer from a memory leak that crawls it to a slideshow on desktop Linux. This oddly hasn't happened on Deck for me yet.

while this game is playable in linux it's really not a good experience with the amount of bugs presented and the fps suddenly dropping to 3
some audio was just straight up white noise (like when opening an in-game window or menu)
after a couple of minutes of playing the game suddenly just dropped to 3 fps with seemingly no explanation
the game somehow ran at a low framerate (prob around 40 fps)

Everything works as expected until it slows down after ~20 Minutes
Major slowdown after ~20 minutes of playing; goes away after restarting the game
The sound works out of the box with Proton 9.0-3, forcing experimental broke it for me so stick to 9.0-3 and you'll be fine.
Unfortunately, the game slows down majorly after ~20 minutes (for me, others have reported different figures; it may depend on the size of your actual RAM)

Straight up white noise and broken

The game runs perfectly fine, with the only issue only really affecting tiling window managers.
The game remains with the aspect ratio it started with.

The game works fine if you don't mind restarting once in a while and the absolutely horrendous default fonts.
Or rather, fonts, which are not loading. The BIOS setup screen looks gorgeous like that.
Major slowdowns after a while
Non-GE Proton 7 craps itself in the audio, as others described, but I didn't experience audio issues after switching to GE7-55. Default fonts are quite ugly but the game works, I'll give it that.

This game works on Linux but a fix for audio is required.
Game will lag terribly after a few minutes.

Estoy seguro de que a muchas personas les debe de estresar el tener que andar reiniciando el juego cada media hora.
steam 2>&1 | tee /path/to/logfile

Starts up at normal speed, but slows down substancially after around 5-10 minutes.

After a few minutes of playing, Game starts slowing down. Restarting the game fixes it but then it slows down again after a few minutes, rinse and repeat.

Russian symbols is not showing.
It starts dropping frames after playing for 15-20 mins.
The only issues is the lag that sets in after a while of playing, might be a memory leak.

Game runs slow and sluggish, which may make the game unplayable on higher levels that require fast movement, mouse is slow and irresponsive.
Used the patch to solve issues in audio https://gist.github.com/DareFox/e02efb02438e7b7720fc91bcdd2786a8
Needed a patch, otherwise sound will crack and make a loud noise, which is stupidly painful
Fonts seem to look blurry and not rendered properly
Laggy input, no matter which mouse or touchpad did I used, wireless and wired
Despite running on an 8 year old hardware, it runs sluggish on Linux, but runs fine on Windows 10
Developers might need to release a patch for it to be Linux and Deck compatible.
gamemoderun %command%
Sound dosen't work out of the box, instead, you only hear a loud noise
To fix it, you need the following bash script: https://gist.github.com/DareFox/e02efb02438e7b7720fc91bcdd2786a8
After 30 minutes to 1 hour, the game for some reason starts to get realllly slow and the only fix is to restart the game.
Instead of sound, I've heard very loud noise
Without a fix, your ears will bleed from LOUD AF noise. Many people have linked here to a post with a fix from Reddit, but it was deleted due to "spam".
So I wrote my own Bash script, whose only requirement is to have ffmpeg installed (https://gist.github.com/DareFox/e02efb02438e7b7720fc91bcdd2786a8)
With the audio fix it plays mostly the same as it does on Windows, except some of the fonts look different.
There was a fix on reddit in a link on this page. I followed the link but reddit marked it as spam for some reason. I found it on the internet archive. I followed the intructions in the fix described and the audio issue was fixed.
Same as user, called Lines Tech Tups. I used a script, that fixes audio made by this reddit user: https://www.reddit.com/r/Progressbar95/comments/u6ekxj/i_fixed_sound_on_linux_issue/
A little information for almost complete noobs at Linux, like me. You'll need to install, if you don't have it, chmod and ffmpeg, for that method to work. You can check, if you have them, by using the whereis command (it's in Linux Mint, which is based on ubuntu, I am not sure if it's everywhere else. Probably is) and then typing the names of those apps with spaces, for example "whereis ffmpeg".
Audio is crackling like old TVs, when they are "snowing". But after applying the simple fix, I mentioned, it works perfectly.
Only the sound one, but it have an easy fix and some texts look a bit out of place, but it's not bothering me.
This game is fully playable. With mentioned audio fix, it even sounds perfect. But if you don't mind playing this game without audio, then you can still play it with proton experimental, without any other thing to do.
Stuck at starting progressbar 95.
Used a patch by a Reddit user on the Progressbar subreddit
Audio by default would play raw data. Used the Reddit patch script (https://www.reddit.com/r/Progressbar95/comments/u6ekxj/i_fixed_sound_on_linux_issue) and fixed the issue
Performance is a bit sliggish with the "Visual Shader" enabled. Can be fixed by going into the game "control panel" "display settings" and disabling. Not sure if Proton or just my PC
I used sound fix script that I made: https://www.reddit.com/r/Progressbar95/comments/u6ekxj/i_fixed_sound_on_linux_issue/
Use the script to fix audio, otherwise sound will be just loud static.
yes, i dont think people would mind the font that much and if you hate the audio then use the audio fix reddit post ive linked
fixed audio with https://www.reddit.com/r/Progressbar95/comments/u6ekxj/i_fixed_sound_on_linux_issue/
audio is static, kills your ears. fixable with this fix https://www.reddit.com/r/Progressbar95/comments/u6ekxj/i_fixed_sound_on_linux_issue/
font does not look good
audio would kill their ears but playable if you mute it
Installed WMP11

Game runs but is not enjoyable because of audio problems
Game seemed laggier than I remember it (from when I played on Windows)
Icones bugados
Falhas: Audio, bug gráfico e se você usar outro protom que não seja o experimental o jogo não passa da "inicialização do sistema" (exemplo "iniciando windows XB...")
Audio is total static, minus the fan sounds for some reason
Fonts arent displayed correctly
Unplayable for me, I want the full experience.
Just an awful noise.
Alt + Enter doesn't make the game on window mode, it makes the game "unclickable", but Alt + Tab out and in solves the issue.
Unless you don't care about audio and mute the game, go ahead.
Borked

Запустил игру через PortWine (PortProton, протон без стима) - итог: чёрный экран. И при OpenGL, и при Vulkan
Seems to play raw audio data instead of actual sound
