On Proton Experimental, this game is not stable. It uses to much memory. But as soon as I switched to 7.0-6. Game worked perfectly.
As mentioned. On Proton Experimental, this game is not stable, in terms of memory usage. It's building it up, until game and even Steam crashes. But game started to work very well, after I switched Proton version to 7.0-6. It maintained stable memory usage. Game was stuttering for me, but only for a little bit, mainly after I shot first time after game launch. But after that gameplay was practally smooth.
Games works perfectly. Although with OpenGL enabled, in advanced video settings. On Vulkan, at least for me, game was completely freezing.

You can try Vulkan, but as I saw on the internet, others were also experiencing freezing. But on OpenGL, game still works very well. I'm playing with Proton 7-0-6, but you could try to play even on experimental or GE. I added mentioned launch options to disable studios' intros and to disable smooth mouse.
Launcher works, but not the game itself
Launcher is starting, but after pressing a button in said launcher to launch the game, it just completely crashes. Tried some other versions, but none worked, some even made it so even launcher stopped working.
Audio was lagging a bit, but only in some cutscenes, most were okay.
WMV cutscenes are flipped 180 degree.
WMV cutscenes are flipped 180 degree.
I think that this game is very playable (at least for me), only those WMV cutscenes are problem. I didn't found a proper solution for this. I tried flipping them in some video editor and then replacing, but that didn't work. So I, for now, resorted to just bind hotkeys to flipping the screen vertically and horizontally.
On native mode, when I was unlocking a new class, for example. I could not see preview video.
On native mode, keyboard was not working, which caused inability to use shortcuts.
When I tried launching this game with Proton Experimental, it was crashing each time, on menu loading screen.
You can play it on native, although at least for me, keyboard was not working. Aside from that, game was working well.
Unable to play due to D3D error
Game launches to menu, but when I press "start game", after a second, an error, that says "Fatal D3D error (6)" appears and after pressing "ok", game closes
Same as user, called Lines Tech Tups. I used a script, that fixes audio made by this reddit user: https://www.reddit.com/r/Progressbar95/comments/u6ekxj/i_fixed_sound_on_linux_issue/
A little information for almost complete noobs at Linux, like me. You'll need to install, if you don't have it, chmod and ffmpeg, for that method to work. You can check, if you have them, by using the whereis command (it's in Linux Mint, which is based on ubuntu, I am not sure if it's everywhere else. Probably is) and then typing the names of those apps with spaces, for example "whereis ffmpeg".
Audio is crackling like old TVs, when they are "snowing". But after applying the simple fix, I mentioned, it works perfectly.
Only the sound one, but it have an easy fix and some texts look a bit out of place, but it's not bothering me.
This game is fully playable. With mentioned audio fix, it even sounds perfect. But if you don't mind playing this game without audio, then you can still play it with proton experimental, without any other thing to do.
Game once was launching perfectly. Not it does not want to launch at all.

Not so long ago. This game was running perfectly, on my system. Now, not matter what I tried. Reinstalling, veryfing game's files, resetting Steam or System. It does not want to launch. There's a black screen for a second, then it disappears, and Steam "stop" button, turns back to "play".
