Works well on mixed med-low graphic config at native Res.
For avoidings FPS is necessary to set GPU clock at max manually on steam deck menu. With that you get solid 30 FPS.

Ran fine, no problems.
I even accidentally left it running all day, due to the long time it took on first run preparing the shaders - it got backgrounded when my lock screen came on, and came right back up still working when I unlocked the screen hours later.
Works perfectly fine
The game starts (launcher or not) with a black screen.

Game has some performance issues but runs well on Linux without any proton-specific issues.
Game has performance issues all-around.
Due to the performance woes, would not recommend for steam deck users. Medium at 800p or 720p+FSR still does not give a stable 30fps. Would save this for another system or wait for performance fixes.

So after trying everything else I could think of, I tried the thing I should have tried first and switched back to an older version of proton. 7.0-6 ran fine on PC.

Game launches to a black screen and never advances.
Trying to launch the launcher results in an error. By switching to GE-8.16 I'm able to get the launcher to start but the game still just gives a black screen. Game is steamdeck certified but I haven't been able to get it to launch on desktop.

Past the first area, performance is a bit worse. Medium gives a stable 30fps but I doubt you'd get 60 even on low. It drops quite a bit in recon mode. Given the slow-paced gameplay, I personally don't find it detracts from the experience, and I'm finding it very fun on the Deck.

Runs on high at almost a solid 30fps but with occasional brief loading stutters. Haven't tried higher frame rates but you'd probably have to drop down to lower settings to get it consistent.
