Installed Visual C++ 2022
Textures sometimes blur togetherm look fuzzy
LOTS of stuttering when running around the city, even on low graphics

%command% -d3d11
without forcing d3d11 the game would crash with a "out of video memory" after a some hours of gameplay, while only using ~50%
Works fine

Possibly due to focus-maanagement (and how linux allows for exclusive input capture), keyboard stopped working after alt-tab probably during game loading (only once). I preventively switched to windowed-borderless to avoid possible problems in the future.
Mouse is delayed, especially in the menu. Less noticable in the game.
Inside newspapers shop UI and in the disguise shops UIs.
When game slows down once (e.g. after opening disguises UI) it lags until it's restarted.
Not sure if game started at proton 7 (or was extremely laggy)? I don't remember the cause I switched to experimental (actually 8.0-5)...

Some FPS drops, cut scenes performance is worse than normal gameplay
Cutscenes performance suffers from higher settings. Game easily runs above 30fps but ingame fps limit makes it more stable.
No more launch options needed, I think cause of default proton 8 (I have 8.0.4 by default)
Works without issues

%command% -d3d11
Without tweaks the game crashes at the end of the tutorial mission.

%command% -d3d11
A lot of graphical glitches
%command% -d3d11
%command% -d3d11
30 FPS Frame Limit
Without setting the %command% -d3d11
the performance is poor and it could stop responding especially when using SteamOS in-game menus.
%command% -d3d11
%command% -d3d11
Out of the box performance is poor using Proton 7.0 or Proton Experimental. As others have recommended, after setting "%command% -d3d11" as the launch command for the game in Steam performance is great an I haven't encountered any issues.
crashes after tutorial mission just before the open world part if dx11 is not enabled
Run the game with %command% -d3d11 from the Steam client. To do this, open your library in Steam right click the game on the left hand side choose "Properties" and in "Launch Options" paste %command% -d3d11 . This will prevent the game from crashing after the tutorial mission.

I think the game runs perfectly with dx11 enabled. i did not find any issue with Dx11 that I can name.
Remember that you have to run the game With '%command% -d3d11' Command. there might be a little performance lag in some loading menus, but it is so little that can be ignored . THANK YOU PROTON. I'm glad that I finally got rid of windows.

I run the game with `%command% -d3d11` and it seems to make everything function normally(along with GE proton version)
6.12-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Running with DirectX 11 fixed everything

6.21-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Start the game with the launch option -dx11

Crashes when starting new game
On starting a new game got the following error:
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown][Line: 578] CommandList->Close() failed at F:/svn/UE4PC_T/Engine/Source/Runtime/D3DI2RHI/Private/D3DI2CommandList.cpp:138 with error E_INVALIDARG
used Proton-6.21-GE-2
CTD after an hour in, can't progress past the prologue
Game runs perfectly during the prologue (~ 1h) but crashes once you reach the open world portion and I'm unable to continue forward. Trying to load a save file at a later moment in the game produces the same crash.
Minor crackling at title screen loading, but mercifully none in the game itself.

Very low framerate, glitchy cutscenes and certain textures, and above all freezes and texture misplacements during important moments
There are times when textures glitched, and random colors appeared, also after the first cutscene on the first mission, game froze and I couldn't proceed
Game was very laggy, even at lowest graphic settings, which is very surprising for my GPU
Game "crashed" midway through first mission's cutscene, although game stayed open, everything froze and graphics were completely glitched out
