I always get an error sayin L.A. Noire has exited unexpectedly. not getting any solution please help

Just some minor issues with Rockstars launcher that caused the game to not start properly for the first time playing after install
Only issue I have noticed is with the Rockstar launcher when first starting up the game immediately after install it took longer than usual for the game to start and it crashed but so far hasn't happened since.

Occasionally when coming out of standby, the voice acting goes extremely fast and out of sync with the animation.
On the OLED Deck, set the TDP to 7 or 8 watts for the same performance with less power use. For the LCD Deck, 9 or 10 watts.

Played the whole game on deck, good experience overall. There were some texture artifacts but they were barely noticable.
There was a Social Club update where the screen didn't display properly
Slight texture/shader artifacts, especially on white surfaces like the notebook
Social Club had an update with a TOS change and the screen only displayed a fraction of the window with gigantic black bars. I had to tap around the screen until the fraction displayed where I could press accept to continue.

Runs perfectly so far. Have changed the Trackpad to mouse for personal habit.

game locked to 30fps -> bring tdp down
i always forget l.a. noire doesnt have cloud saves

Works perfect on Steam Deck. It's realy nice and controls feel right at home.

Maxed out graphics settings. ##Resolution settings 1920x1080 - Docked 1280x720 - Undocked
Not a bad port but would love native 60 FPS support. It's possible to get 60 FPS with a DLL tweak, but the physics for driving can get wonky. Instead, I preferred having a stable 30 FPS with maxed settings, and the ability to flip between resolutions between 1080p and 720p for docked/undocked.
Steam Deck settings: Pin GPU to 1000 mHz. PowerTools settings: Disable SMT
touchscreen and onscreen keyboard got me through rockstar's launcher fine
Set the game to medium settings with FXAA at 2x,
Rockstar launcher installation process is very slow. It would look like its stuck but it isn't, you need to give it time. The second time i've open the game rockstar launcher got installed again.
Minor stuterring, its worse if you lower the TDP so i've left unlocked
Set the graphical settings to medium with FXAA 2x, this game can be totally playable at max settings but it will use more battery. On medium it uses about 12W. You can gain about 1W by playing everything on low but some graphics dont look awesome even on the deck screen. This game plays at 30 FPS so i've set the refresh rate to 40 Hz to save more battery.
Used Protontricks to install dinput8.dll to unlock framerate for smooth 60FPS gameplay. Also allowed the game to run in the 1280x800 res, otherwise it would not go past 720p in my testing. However upon installing dinput8.dll the game forced 800p. Game also ran at DX11 and not DX9 when installing it.
Further information about dinput8.dll can be found here, I recomend giving it a shot, the deck can run this game at 60 perfectly. https://github.com/VaanaCZ/LANVP
Sometimes the Rockstar social club stopped me from playing, something about being signed out. Issue appears to have just gone away.
Game for some reason hates the trackpads, make sure you don't fiddle with the controller settings in options or you'll lose all input, trackpads are unresponsive.
Videos would not play at first, I had to install with the proton version that valve picked, then switch to GE, then back to the valve picked proton version, this, somehow, made the videos play.
If you are down to put in the extra effort to get GE installed and configured, and play around with the settings it's pretty enjoyable.
Rockstar Games Launcher needs to be installed and will require a mouse/touchscreen, once completed it's no longer an issue
Some missions will freeze/drop to 9-12 FPS, Usually runs locked 30FPS otherwise
Without GE the game will launch but menus be blacked out/tiny/shadows not rendering correctly
It's recommended to install and first launch with Proton Experimental/Latest then switch to GE
Limited CPU TDP and lowered graphics. It's perfectly playable at 30fps but I kept it at 60fps.
Built in option to increase UI size is recommended
Bad anti-aliasing
Must install with Proton Experimental then change over to Proton GE
Bugged video playback and text size is what you can expect if you do not use the Glorious Eggroll branch.
I played with lower graphic settings and set TDP Limit to 7. Frametimes were a bit more inconsistent, but being a slower-paced game, I was fine with it.
I did run into the issue another user mentioned where there were no intro videos and the main menu text was small. I switch to Proton Experimental and the game ran fine afterwards. I then switched back to the recommended version of Proton and it was still fine. I'm not sure what caused this issue, but I never experienced it after the initial launch.
By default L.A. Noire runs at 30FPS. There is a 60FPS mod, however, I did not use it.
The intro cutscenes don't work either, complete black screen. Getting past the first menu just press A until the game starts. Once the game gets ingame, redering works fine. All Menus including pause menu are broken.
