Workous out of the box

Works well with proton
No issues with multiplayer

Switched left trackpad to be used as a mouse, as some parts of the menu are not available through the vanilla controls.
Formats and menus are pretty small, and there isn't any settings to enlarge them.

I use Proton Experimental as the default for all my games. Solasta ran perfectly, without issue, immediately after installation. No tinkering required.

Works Out of the Box
Works without any tweaks. 4k was a bit patchy for the 3060Ti but that was the same on Windows.
Settings:
- Exlusive Full screen (default)
- 2560 x 1440
- FXAA
- Vsync Double
- AMD FidelityFX Disabled
- Quality Level Ultra
- Vsync Double FXAA
Works ootb no messing around needed

Runs fine
Hit play and it just worked out of the box with no noticeable issues.

Forgot to tinker, everything works out of the box.
Did not test multiplayer yet

New save Games were sometimes overwritten by old ones from the steam cloud after closing the game

The text is too small and kb/m controls are awkward on the deck (IMO). It can still be fun if you're patient and into CRPGs.
Changed some back buttons to quick save and quick load
TDP 11, 40fps frame cap
The text is extremely small and some of it is simply not legible. It's rarely that important, though.
The game runs well out of the box, but there's no controller support and I don't like using my thumb as a mouse, so ... yeah. Still, it's better than lacking support at all.
Flawless on Linux Mint with Steam default proton (8.0-3 or Experimental)

Everything works
Much better than I tried in Windows 10/11
Everything works and I have much better overall performance than Windows 10/11.
- More FPS
- Faster loading
- Better network
Rating this 10/10, no tinkering or tweaks needed.

Had to configure the controls, since the base game does not have controller support.
Runs great, just need to customize the controls or download a copmmunity layout
Ran great, no complaints
The game runs fine, I didn't notice any issues.
Works out of the box
Medium settings
Slight crackling after suspended state - more like a Steam Deck issue then the game itself
With the official gamepad support this should be a verified title.
Co-Op games sometimes hang with black screens and one player freezing but this seems to be unrelated to linux.
Works perfectly. Video-Cutscenes tend to stutter, but not severely problematic for the gameplay.
Not sure if a Linux specific issue or a game specific issue. But when playing online with a friend, I found if I was constantly alt tabbing between turns, sometimes desync might happen. This rarely happened, so not a huge concern. Just do a quick save, load it, and synced up again.
Game just runs without any problems.
Game just runs. After some fine tuning of the graphical settings, I was off to the races.
Works perfectly fine out of the box

Works great out of the box, by default it runs with medium settings but its stable at 30fps with high-very hig settings and medium shadows.
Right joystick zoom in and out and rotate the camera, ABYX buttons choose characters.
Works out of the box!
Controller layout had to be switched to a different official one, but that was all.
Reduced refresh rate to 30 fps
Coop campaign has worked flawlessly.
Work fine out of the box
Install and play.
Fail with launching dx11
Not out of the box, by default warning about dx11, will launch after adding "PROTON_WINED3D"
Slight artifacting when rotating camera in some maps
I have been tinkering with this game off and on, so I don't really know how great the OOB experience is anymore, but I did find that the FPS was lower than I would expect with my hardware, but that could be something on the game's side too. I haven't run it in Windows to know what kind of performance it gets when run native. It does seem to be more intensive than I think it should be, but that could be down to the devs and compression/textures and things. I have adjusted my game settings, and it looks good enough, but I think bumping the textures up was really what started tanking performance. Looking forward to seeing how it runs on the Steam Deck.
Runs great out of the box with minor network sync issues.
Sometimes the server would get out of sync with clients so while they weren't missing--the server said otherwise. Took a reload of the save to come back. Server and 1 client linux, 1 client windows.
No issues found.
Worked great with the default Proton version. FPS around 75 with my hardware, limited by V-SYNC.
