The game functions flawlessly, and I did not experience any issues!

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
some text looks like it's on low resolution, mostly in menu/settings
as said previously, i think the text isn't supposed to be of such low resolution, i think it might be Deck exclusive problem
the first time game launches in most awful horrendous resolution (square). But luckily you can reach settings and change resolution using mouse and keyboard
Maybe it runs the same way on pc but with lowest graphic settings the game runs on 20-35 fps all the time

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
For some reason selecting high graphic settings make the game slow, but if you use PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% as a launch option it works great.
Game runs at 9fps at 4k, and 15fps at 1080p

Works great out of the box.
Newest engine update by devs (The Playground update) made this game run as well as on Windows 10. Before the update I would get max 40-50 fps no matter the options, now it runs great on ultra and everything enabled (~300FPS same as Win10). Remember to limit your FPS or it will max out your GPU.
In order to get BePinEx to work you need to enable the winhttp dll. Protontricks 1057640 --gui > select the default wineprefix > run winecfg > libraries > new override for library > winhttp.
Was having terrible framerate issues. Disabling V-sync in game and forcing a 60fps cap with strangle 60 %command% kept the framerate mostly consistent.

Game works very well even in my non-standard OS. Watch out for first-run issues such as no stage transitions, they go away after a restart.
Game has occasional slowdown in certain areas, but that's related to the game itself (see dev notes and patches)
Slightly janky but that's due to the game developers slowly optimizing areas and fixing issues.
loads really slow
once i enter the first door, a little tutorial thing pops up but then everything freezes and i can't do anything else
Works well with 6.14 GE 2, underlying game is early access and has issues not specific to Linux
Volume sliders are buggy, but this seems to be all platforms
Game is known unoptimized on all platforms
Runs better than Windows for me, and while videofile cutscenes don't work the actual ingame rendered cutscenes work. Worth a shot
Cutscenes missing, and ingame tutorial images replaced with colorbars
"The video is using Media Foundation, which isn't currently supported in WINE/Proton. The current workaround is to show colorbars (before it would crash when trying to play)." Quote from searching the error message in terminal. I assume this could be fixed by installing some MF binary or something into the games wineprefix but I haven't bothered yet
You have to use a specific version of proton with launch options just to get it to work and even then it froze for me
without this I was getting "gettreadcontext error"
only playable on the lowest setting and even then the framtimes are high

I've installed the game and it work perfectly fine out of the box, even with the xbox controller.

Usually hangs pre-title screen, but sometimes makes it that far and hangs in the options screen.
