The game worked flawlessly on Pardus 23.2 gnome without doing any kind of tinkering.
you should change to windowed as the default setting creates two border lines

The game has great battery performance and works great.

Works great out of the box. Game is locked to 60 fps, so set the deck screen to 60 hz to save battery.
Game is locked to 60 fps, so I limited the deck to 60 hz

Game installs and works perfectly.
Alt-tab does not work in fullscreen or windowed mode as the game is rendered always on top of your desktop (at least in Linux Mint Cinnamon), however in windowed mode you are able to minimize the game as a workaround.
Completed full playthrough with no crashes and perfect performance (no lag or stutter).
Used Logitech Gamepad F310, which was detected automatically.
Multiplayer untested.
Fully playable without any slowdowns, except a minor weird remapping bug
For some reason, some of the settings in the keyboard controls menu don't actually bind the thing they claim to. For example, setting 'Shoot' to Spacebar actually mapped Spacebar to 'Jump', while the 'Tank' setting defined the 'Shoot' button. This means defining controls can take a while, but everything else works perfectly fine.
I didn't try much with a gamepad, but it seems to be unaffected by this.
I'm also not fully sure whether this comes from Proton or not, but I'm assuming if it didn't it would've been fixed already.
Game runs perfectly without any config changes

game runs flawlessly for me just install and run
