The game worked flawlessly on Pardus 23.2 gnome without doing any kind of tinkering.
The game is an old classic and a forgotten gem. Probably better than Street Fighter 3 in all aspects, but less known variant of KoF series.

game only worked on lowest graphic settings between 12-30 fps
on high graphic settings game crashes all the time after 1 minute or so
The game is a fresh type of School managing simulation and even thought it has overwhelming interactivity it gives the vibe of a funny game.
Sometimes mouse control gets buggy and moves around on its own, but I think its from the game's coding not from proton
It was relatively fine and game run at bearable levels in frame rate at the lowest of low settings in graphics.
I needed to change set /home/(username)/.var/app/com.valvesoftware.Steam/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Riftbreaker/conf/initial_config_win.cfg render_system "dx11" from "dx12" and change the graphic options to the lowest in order to run the game at a beareble frame rate.
before changing the setting in "initial_config_win.cfg" "dx12 to dx11" it was crashing constantly
Whenever game crashes a pop up menu appears to set the settings to safe but those settings are not apropriate to run the game and if you say no game relaunches again. It is useless and problematic to have and solves nothing in my case
PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% -windowed
Whenever I try to use "fn" shortcut to turn up or down the sound game simply freezes and forces me to reboot
because of low resolution it pixellation was heavy and the frame rate gets lower and lower with every building you make.
Whenever I try to use "fn" shortcut to turn up or down the sound game simply freezes and forces me to reboot. Also at loading screens if I try to return to my desktop it freezes the same.
The mouse curser stucks in main main menu
At the lowest of low graphic settings I could only run the game at around 20 fps
Whenever game ends abrubtly because of a freeze, the next start comes with a "safe mode" option and that will itself can be a infinite loop to restart and resee that warning option again and again. If you choose "yes" the game starts with higher graphical options which is a problem.
