Linux port is bad: performance issues, frequent crashes and Steam Overlay doesn't work. Windows verion is better but doesn't work out of the box due to font issues. Following the discovery by a Steam user (post), replaced both Oxanium fonts in the game's dir, after which Windows version through Proton worked flawlessly
Oxanium font shipped with the game doesn't get displayed unde Proton
Occasional slowdowns, long load times
Persistent stuttering
Game stuttered consistently for a few frames every 1-2 second. Reverting to Proton 6 resolved it
Native version froze consistently on boot on my laptop with built-in graphics. Windows version through Proton runs flawlessly
Requires adjusting in-game settings. Will be letterboxed as it doesn't support 16:10 aspect ratio
When fullscreen (or resolution higher than 800p) shows artefacts that aren't supposed to be visible at the top of the screen, switching to Windowed 1280x800 solves it.
Issue with fonts. Fonts used in Proton seem to be larger than the intended, causing some lengthy sentences to overflow the dialog box and become cut off. Not critical since they can be seen normally in the chat log
Constant "rgl error: error on creating shaders: out of video memory". Lowering the settings only prolongs time before it happens
Unplayable, had to revert to Proton 6, at which point the issue disappeared completely
Broken under 8.x and GE, constant crashes on every other scene change or during the day changes in overworld
End-game slowdows/freezes when day changes. Same on Windows. Devsare aware of the issue
Froze and crashed in main menu on default Proton
Cloud sync is entirely broken. Game didn't manage to successfully sync a single time in weeks, despite any attempts to fix it
Video tooltips showing how buildings work absent entirely. Achievemnts do not work.
