Proton-6.1-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
The game didn't work out of the box, and none of the forks other people recommended worked for me, so I had to do a bit of trial and error on my own. In my case, it wound up being this Glorious Eggroll release I had installed for another game, but judging by the lack of consistency of these reports, your mileage may vary. Might need to do your own trial and error.
As far as how it ran, everything worked fine for the most part. The new launcher seems a bit janky - I couldn't log in (though that might just be a serverside issue), and clicking a link that's supposed to open your browser crashes it, but I at least managed to get the game itself running like it did on Windows.
I did experience bugs, but that's moreso just cause it's cyberpunk than any issues with compatibility.
Game flat out refuses to launch
I click play, it says it's launching the game, and then nothing happens. The button just reverts back from pause to play.
Walls were missing, each person looked like incomplete suits with a floating eyeball (only one for some reason). Newest GE version seemed to return some of the missing models/textures, but not enough for the game to be playable.
Game initially kept crashing to desktop after trying to start a new game. This issue went away after updating my graphics card drivers.
