The game doesn't launch
I tried several different versions of proton. Tried different launch parameters. Tried protontricks. None of that worked

The game initially had a low framerate. Updating my graphics card drivers and adding gamemoderun to the launch options fixed that
The tinkering required is minimal compared to other games I played on linux
Sometimes FPS drops to ~10 and stays there until restart. Happens randomly a few times an hour regardless of settings, proton version and videocard settings
On some videocard settings the game crashes after a few minutes
I wasn't able to resolve the issues and resorted to playing it on windows instead
The game runs perfectly fine with just proton in windowed mods. Protontricks and custom launch options make the mods run fine as well

Fullscreen occasonally freezes the entire machine
making the game run in windowed mod fixes them
It requires some tinkering to run; it requires a lot of tinkering to run with mods. An OK experience overall
Fullscreen causes this game to occasinally freeze the entire system. Disabling "NVIDIA on-demand" and selecting "NVIDIA (performance mode)" instead in "PRIME Profiles" in NVIDA settings solves this issue
Protontricks are only required to make the workshop mods work. The main game and the DLC work with just proton out of the box. Tinkering with NVIDIA settings was required to make the game stable
