Have to re-enable fullscreen each time i start the game, otherwise the game window will be vertically off-center while the desktopenvironment is still visible on top.
After last update, game freezes every time i press esc to open setting. Will freeze for approx 45-60 seconds until i get kicked or disconnected for connection time-out.
Lots of small bugs and micro-freezes.
Even though this game is supposed to be linux native, it is by far the least stable game i've played on linux. It is way more stable if played through proton, however, VAC will not work with proton so you're essentially shit out of luck. The launch options are essential. The game simply wont start at all without them.
Perfectly playable since recent update, however it is still a lesser experience compared to windows.

Game always launches in borderless windowed with the window off-center until i switch to fullscreen mode.
Feels like performance has been slightly impacted compared to windows. Menu navigation feels jittery and unstable.
A recent update fixed most of the stability issues experienced earlier since CS2 came out. The game has now reached a state where it is perfectly playable without any game-breaking issues. However it still feels like the Linux native version of the game is of low priority to valve, and it is in some regards still a lesser experience compared to windows (which, while it is disappointing, honestly is sort of understandable considering Linux's low market share).
Works great, straight out of the box!
Some minor issues with cursor not registering properly after alt-tab. Solved easily by alt-tabing again into the game window.
Forced proton, then worked like a charm.
I just arbitrarily chose to force Proton 9.0-2 in the Steam game properties menu. No launch options required. I would even dare say this feels more stable than on my Windows machine.

When i get an achievement it would sometimes show me a stretched and enlarged partial terminal window. I just press escape and it closes and continues without a problem.

The only thing that doesn't work on Linux is typing the charcters "Å,Ä,Ö" on a Swedish keyboard while using the chat in a multiplayer lobby. Besides that is works wonderfully well.
