Changing the volume would sometimes cause the controls to become unresponsive.
The framerate is tied to the game speed, so you cannot lower the refresh rate from 60 to get more battery life. Unless you wanna play in slow motion.
Force the use of proton. GE is recommended. The native version of this game was fine for the most part, but there were many issues I kept encountering, like the screen stretching across the stage, and controls would be delayed at times. Under native, the daily challenge runs were just unplayable. Never had these issues once I started using GE.
Locked at 30 fps in-game, got 4-5 hours.

I played it all on the Steam Deck and it's a great way to experience Persona 5. Make sure to change the resolution to 720p. It looks very pixelated at 800p.
