Later proton version don't work, even though they used to. It works fine with 5.0-10, but that means that RT and DLSS support is lost.
Fullscreen does not allow alt+tab. Borderless windowed is required for that.
Proton experimental bleeding edge must be used. Also to be able to play online I had to use the flatpak version of steam, runtime would run the game but not online. In order to enable proton experimental bleeding edge, go to your steam library, search proton experimental, right-click on proton-experimental go to properties, beta and select bleeding edge. I have also installed Proton EasyAntiCheat Runtime, which can also be found on your library, though I don't know if it is necessary. Lastly, if your controller is not working go to steam -> settings -> controller -> desktop configuration. There click Browse Configs -> Templates -> Gamepad -> Apply configuration -> done. Then your controller should work.
It just works without issue.
The game works well without doing any modifications, however the custscenes appear as black screens, proton GE is required to see them.
