It's a classical moba game but with a battle royale spin on it.
Everything worked well out of the box.
I also tried with Custom Proton GE, It's banned just like trying to play with wine.
You'll appear as device banned even if you've never played it before. I think since 2022, they stopped supporting wine. And because of that the game won't start in my system. I don't know if they'll do something about the wine stuff but untill then. I can't seem to play it.
For clarification.
For some reason protondb was confused about my specs. I tried correcting it and wanted to let everyone know game still does not work.
Native Linux version is actually behind in versions. You need to use the Windows version in order to play with people properly. Other than that the game works fine.
(Thumbs down is showing because you should be thinkering and using Proton or else you wouldn't be able to properly enjoy it.)
Works flawlessly OOTB. No thinkering needed. I use GE because it's my default.
Works well OOTB. I didn't have to do any recompiling or anything. Worked instantly for me.
PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
Fixed it with the said Launch Options, although it worked fine ootb in Arch Linux.
Playing this game in Linux used to be a bad experience but now it works fine, I also don't think me using ProtonGE would matter all that much and could also be played with the good old Steam Proton.
- Also it's good etiquette to compile some stuff with 32 bit support before playing old games in Gentoo altogether. Follow what wiki suggested, https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Steam#Emerge_.28recommended.29
IIRC Steam Proton's latest versions don''t launch the game, you can get through this issue by using Proton 6 or older, or using any ProtonGE version, really.
Perfectly fine!
Works out of the box perfectly. Just like it did in Windows. Brad Borne goated guy.
