As other users pointed out I also had a strange error on first install, saying that the launcher failed to install, though everything seems to work fine regardless - all launcher features are available and working.

It works out of the box but an older Proton version must be used (based on the previous reports I used version 4.13)
The current proton version (5.09 I think) has a problem of graphical degradation (some texture are black).

The slowness/inertia of the mouse is minimal.

The mouse is slighlty slow, with a sort of inertia. But it is very minimal.

Months ago I played the game for over 20 hours with no problem but now something is changed (it is updated weekly) and it is unplayable.

I tried the trick " protontricks 644930 -q --force vcrun2017 dotnet472 gdiplus" suggested by other users but it didn't work for me. May be my Intel integrated GPU is not good enough. Ah, and there were many warnings about 32/64 bits incompatibility but I have no idea of what to do about them...
