This review is during the Open beta phase. It is playable without major problems, although I dont have a comparison with the Windows version
In certain occasions, the survey window appeared, leaving the game utilizable and having to do a force quit.
Longer loading time, all games were entered once it had already started (despite having it installed on an nvme).
The only 2 problems I found were the longer loading time (always between 45 sec to 1 min), entering last to the games, and the survey window that was not displayed, but blocked me the whole game, making me to close the game by force.
I recommend using the native version, the proton versions I tested had half the performance.

Half the performance compared to windows and native version on the campaign map and immortal empires. Battles felt good, pretty much the same performance as windows and native. All tests were done using the High preset, in battles depending on size, I was getting around 60 to 80 fps, in campaign map and immortal empires, I was getting max 30 fps.

GPU and CPU do not use more than 70%.
as of patch 3.0, you can no longer connect to online, losing your progress as the game separates online and offline progress.
Unless you only want to play singleplayer and offline, this game is not worth the price. Until they fix the online mode, the game is not recommended
The update 3.0 broke the online mode, Saber Interactive indicated that at the end of the year the steam deck will have official support, so we will have to see what happens.
