Disabled V-Sync with a dxvk.conf file ("dxgi.syncInterval = 0") in the game's directory.
The fullscreen mode sometimes leaves the height of a title bar empty and windows can be seen through this gap. This seems to be a Linux Mint Cinnamon issue as the problem is not present when using Xfce. However, I have not seen other games with this behavior when they're running under Cinnamon.
Lower frame rate compared to Windows. Around 20-30 FPS less than Windows, with some complicated areas introduce stutters.
The game is very playable right out of the box with Proton Experimental. The intro video will not play and will display a TV test card image instead (exact behavior may vary as I've seen simple black screens on other systems). Noticeable frame rate drop may present in large areas such as Kurken Island and sometimes during a battle in certain areas.
Flawless. Even ray tracing is working and at the some level of performance as Windows.
Identical performance to Windows without any tinkering, even with DLSS and/or ray tracing.
The native Linux version runs beautifully
Encountered one freeze with buzzing noise in chapter 5. Save often!!
The first game that I finished mostly on Linux. Did not have any issue playing the native version besides one (rather scary) crash near the end of the game, but after restarting the game I was right back in.
The game runs smoothly without tinkering and controllers work flawlessly. Mouse controls might be very problematic.
The mouse camera control feels very stuttery (some refer to it as the 4Hz poll rate issue). The camera will "jump" if the mouse keeps moving in one direction, making it nearly impossible to aim accurately. An Xbox 360 controller works perfectly, however.
The overall performance is the same as that on Windows, a weird but stable 67 FPS all the way. I've personally run into serious some serious mouse issues that render the game very unenjoyable, and I have unfortunately not found the solution so I had to finish the game on Windows instead.
Runs really well out-of-box and doesn't require any tinkering if you don't have a high refresh monitor.

Lower and much more inconsistent framerate (when uncapped) compared to Windows.
When the game is running at 60 FPS without any mods, the experience is identical to Windows. However, with the High Refresh Rate mod installed, my game only hovers around 130-150 FPS in-game with a PV playing; on Windows, my setup gets the full 165 FPS with G-Sync and 300+ FPS uncapped. The inconsistent (uncapped) frame rate with Proton is likely to bother some people since this game requires very precise timing.
Some songs may experience slight slowdowns but everything else runs flawlessly out of the box, and mods work as intended with a command.

There are a few songs that will somehow max out the GPU on the Deck and cause it to run at only 45-50 FPS; lowering graphics settings helps somewhat but still unable to achieve 60 FPS with those songs. Some of the songs in question: Ghost Rule, HIBANA, Amatsu Kitsune...
This game does not support 16:10 resolutions so expect black bars at the top and bottom of the screen (filling the gap with a level 2 performance overlay works like a dream); and on those aforementioned songs with slowdowns, the Deck will get warm and the fan may ramp up until the song completes. Other than that, the Deck is a great way to play this game.

Performance is identical to that on Windows. Consistently 800+ FPS in game and 1000+ in the menu without any stuttering. The only nitpick is that the in-game cursor appears pixelated but who cares?
Runs flawlessly without tinkering. Do expect stutters when joining a lobby for the first time.
Identical to Windows, no issue whatsoever.
Identical if not better performance compared to Windows. My game is installed in an NTFS partition which possibly caused a long stutter when I joined the plaza for the first time. The game runs flawlessly after the initial stutter, even the load time on NTFS is nearly identical to Windows. Impressive.
