Easy Anti-Cheat implementation released with 1.7.0 update makes game collapse under it's own weight. Issues persist on 1.7.1.

Intermittent periods of extremely low framerate (1-3FPS), instances lasting approximately 5-10 seconds at a time, approximately 60-90 seconds between instances
Apparent memory leaks cause crashes after extended gameplay, depending on conditions. Experienced crashes more readily when inside of shops, especially cosmetics shop, for etended period of time.
buyer beware: this is not the first time the devs have acted contrary to intrests of the existing user base, and it certainly won't be the last. with the 1.7.1 release, steam deck flag allows you to launch, but the already poorly optimized game simply can't handle the weight of a kernel-level anti-cheat. severe stutters and desyncs brought about by the game simply trying to keep itself alive while also making use of EAC make it unenjoyable in solo, and unplayable in online
Patch 2.01 (Released today) fixed issue with controller button prompts in-game when using keyboard and mouse.

DX11 version lags greatly in certain areas, DX12 version currently unable to launch

connection issues are a function of the poorly-optimized per-to-peer used by the game, not a function of proton
good results with recent proton releases, best results with proton experimental in fullscreen. fully playable, windows-like experience once in-game
