The program itself started without any issues out of the box, but a new game could not be started (an error popped out) until I added '-useembedded' to the launch options. There were no further issues after that and no further tweaks were required.

Runs out of the box without any tweaks required but framerate is rather low, around 15 fps in some screens. However as this is turn based game it didn't really impact my experience all that much.
