The game crashes sometimes between loading maps, almost always when trying to download a custom map. GE Proton lessens these crashes. Otherwise it runs as good as Windows.
Mouse pointer flickers while on the world map. While on Windows it comes with performance issues, here it's just a minor annoyance and after a while, not noticeable.
I had significant issues with low framerate while turning my view in battles. It seems to be an issue with Wine and "higher end" mice. The fix is to reduce mouse polling rate to 250 Hz.
I've played many mods, some may be unstable and require some tinkering. Too much tinkering may result in a lost save, in my case a save of 120+ hours -- I recommend making regular/automatic backups of your saves.
Brightness levels are a little messed up when ran through Proton, had to bump them way up.
There are some inconsistent DXVK-related crashes.
Modding works as expected for SuperBLT and asset overrides, make sure you set WINEDLLOVERRIDES="WSOCK32=n,b"
for SuperBLT to kick in.
Notifications on KDE flash all textures if in full screen. Otherwise runs excellent.
Trying to open up the server list crashes the game.

xboxdrv -D must be running for the game to not crash. Very first launch must be done in 4.2-9 otherwise it crashes.
Occasional stuttering at entirely random times, not just the beginning of launch, unsure why.
