Game has some fps dips due to a memory leak. Whenever the VRAM usage jumps there's a temporary slowdown as it offloads ram into swap to make room for more vram. Slowdowns go away once the game has reached 6.8-7GB of VRAM, where it seems to stabilize.
Game has a memory leak with integrated graphics, where memory usage will grow until VRAM usage hits about 7GB. With default swap file size this will crash the game.
Playing on Steam Deck requires a larger swap file. The game's vram usage steadily increases until around 7GB of usage, but the game will crash when it reaches 6.3-6-8GB of VRAM with default swap file. I was getting a crash every 30-60min. After increasing the swapfile size with Cryobyte33's tool, I've been able to run the game for hours without crashing. There are some momentary slow downs in the first hour of gameplay whenever the increase in VRAM usage requires offloading more RAM into swap to free up more VRAM, but these go away once it stabilizes at about 7GB of VRAM (and about 11GB of RAM including swap).
I also have my minimum VRAM increased to 4GB, but I don't think that's necessary to get the game to work correctly. Increased Swap is 100% necessary though. I raised my Swap file to 16GB in size, but a 4GB increase might be enough to run without crashing.
