Input is sometimes erroneously disabled upon starting game
Turn on Vsync or the game will have massive flickering!
Launcher's "Install PhysX" mode and Settings window require Desktop Mode, Setting will not work on anything except default recommended Proton!
Massive global flickering when vsync is off (which is the default)
When in Gaming Mode, don't interact with the launcher except for the Play button, and the two language buttons. For everything else, Desktop Mode is required. No older Protons needed, but some messing around to get the Settings working may be required. Alternately, just turn on vsync manually in the INI and bypass the fuss, as that is the only setting really needing changing.
Occasional stutters that last about half a second when running at default shadows level
Subtitles in pre-title game intro are always Japanese on first launch, regardless of language chosen. Language applies properly after first launch. This does not affect menus or in-game cutscenes.
Disabled touch screen
Audio may loop incorrectly and keep playing the same song over and over
Using the touch screen will cause your controls to bug out
EA is apparently working on the game to improve its Linux compatibility. Just wait.
Picking any menu options on the title menu will softlock you. If you can manage to get the game to go past the file select menu, the game will crash upon entering Create-a-Sim. EA is supposedly working on this to fix it.
Game crashes when attempting to make purchase from the in-game Robot Enrichment Shop
Frame limit set to 40
Froze when trying to load XB match vs Zero near beginning of game, unsure if reproducible
Game defaults to Mouse + Keyboard and needs to be manually changed to Controller.
Major framerate drop in final level, though still playable.
Changed right joystick to have outer ring = shift
Don't know if Drizzle (world modding tool) will work on Steam Deck, but the rest is fine.
All water textures (minus effects) are invisible, some hair textures are invisible
As long as you can tolerate the missing textures, it's fine, but good luck tolerating the port town and ocean stuff
This game is not built for contollers and the world builder is nigh unusable.
