Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 7.0-6, Set launch options
HOST_LC_ALL=ja_JP.UTF-8 %command%
This game did not launch with the latest Proton Experimental, but going back to 7.0.6 made it launch.
I also had to add HOST_LC_ALL=ja_JP.UTF-8 %command% to the launch options because otherwise it would break right after the start of the game.
