Played through the story mode and a fair amount of the DLC with no issues whatsoever and no tinkering needed. Works great!
Ive tried multiple versions of Proton, and the one I went with seems to be the best. But it didn't fix the crashing issue.
Runs pretty well out of the box with a steady FPS and all but frequently crashes randomly when fast traveling or otherwise reaching a loading screen for whatever reason.
I just ended up playing on Windows. Hoping for a fix in the future so I won't have to.
Seems almost a fluke that I got it running. With Proton 7.0-2 or expirimental it would hang while trying to install OriginThinSetup.exe so I installed the latest version of GE and got it to install and load. Now it takes at least 3-5 attempts before I can get it to load every time I go to play it. The game itself runs perfectly at 60FPS with high preset graphics (vsync on), the issues I am expiriecing seem to be exclusivley with Origin.

Tried Proton 7.0-2 first, then switched to GE 7-19 but the only difference was it flashes the splash screen for just a second and then just stops working. Hoping it may work with the next version of Proton..
Works great out of the box!
For whatever reason I had issues with graphical settings in the native Linux version. The resolution maxed out super lower and when trying to change it would crash the game and my DE (Cinnamon). Anyway works with no issues whatsoever under proton.

I've tried all the launch options/tweaks provided in other reports but can't get past the login screen. It says "Bad or missing configuration". My guess is that it's EAC. Bummer...
