Some news screen text is hard to read but it isnt necessary to enjoy the actual game
not often (maybe 1 in 10 times opening the game) the game would not understand the input from my controller correctly and send the cursor in a similar but not perfect direction to where the analog stick was pointing. it doesnt last for very long though so was never really a problem.
despite very very minor controller issues it is a perfect game
The game has zero controller support and a less than modern keyboard layout which means extensively customised controls are needed for the game to feel comfortable to play with controller
The game runs perfectly, it just needs some effort to work comfortably if you need controller support
I tried different proton versions. including experimental and GE.
40fps at 40hz
after extended play some textures were sometimes unrendered including 3D game assets as well as 2D map textures in the map screen. this was solved by restarting the game.
after extended play the game would begin to run slower. this was solved by restarting the game
After extended play i found the game had a greater and greater chance of crashing
for smoothest gameplay experience it is suggested to limit uninterupted play time to less than an hour at a time.
Im not sure if this is a something intentional by the devoloper or a result of using proton as the nature of this game leaves it abigious but the game took about a minute to pass a black screen every time i opened the game
40fps at 40hz. 4-5h of gameplay.
I seemed to have a problem with object pop in when turning quickly. It didnt happen often but it was obvious when it did.
