I used proton 6.3 and the game ran fine. I completed a bit of the story with no issues.
If you play single player then you will mostly have an ok time playing the game.
Sometimes system settings were not saved, but I cannot tell if this is a linux issue or an issue with the game
Ranked matches did not seem to work consistently(not sure of linux problem)
I needed to disable FSR -3 or I got a black screen.
If you get a black screen play with the settings like FSR
Soulcalibur 6 not working on ryzen 3960x
the game does not start at all.
This game works really offline well for the most part. Played story mode, arcade mode and trials and had no issues.
Downloaded ucrtbase.dll and added it to the KOFXV/binaries directory
The game was crashing in multiplayer
In order to play this game online you will need to get the ucrtbase.dll. Instructions:
