DRM Fail..
I used all matter of proton branches. I tested with 3.16, 5.04, and the last 3 versions of glorious egg-roll. I managed to get the game to give me an error with the last two latest branches of GE with PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1. Then I assume its a DRM fail as i get the message, Something went wrong with this & a link that takes me to a web page where I'm told: Currently your game purchase cannot be re-validated successfully, please wait 24 hours and try again. @ https://support.codefusion.technology/de_d90127jd781/?e=88500006&l=english
I heard Bethesda.net has a drm free exe (wat?) Would of tested with that too but could not find it for hours so gave up. (im not re downloading it again)
Launcher Starts once, Click play then forever stuck on running
Latest proton does not use the gpu fully, the intro movie plays audio but no visual. sometimes no auido, recommended to skip or attempt to
Had to force steam input on
Gpu not used at all stuck at 8-12 fps on menu 10 in game
as of Update 2.25 its Borked on linux
Went from better than windows to giving me a 24 hour ban because it could not verify my purchase, maybe an update to Denuvo or they added Denuvo Anti-Cheat as the same thing happened when DOOM:ET Implemented it and I could not get the game to run. Now its either stuck on Launching or Sorry something went wrong... sad times.
I also lost all my save data and network data, so my Online Rank/Profile has been Reset and I have lost all my CaS, Libre and story progress. Hope it will be fixed in a later proton build or game patch, Tested with GE 5.9-5 ST and 5.09 also 4.2.9.
Well its happened before on the PS2 with SC3 on Chronicle of the Sword. Its just a damn shame... A real Damn shame, not even the save editor could save me.
