Unless you have enough power from your GPU to cope with the OpenGL renderer, the frequent crashes make this unplayable.
Tinker Steps:Switch to experimental
Graphics:Heavy Artifacts
Draw distance issues with native opengl renderer. No visual issue present with Proton
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
With the Linux-Native OpenGL renderer frequent and long lasting dips to 26-28fps. Inconsistent GPU usage during this time.
Using Proton the performance is fantastic with 120fps minimums but with crashes after 5-10 minutes
Instability:Frequently
Using Proton it crashes after about 5-10 minutes
Hopefully the next version of Proton will fix the crashes as it runs perfectly other than that.
