Not playable without considerable work
The game installs, but the launcher immediately hangs. I see other people post long lists of instructions on how to get the game working, some even involving installing the Windows version of Steam, and I spent a while playing around with it, trying to navigate through tons of errors, and simply never had any luck. I'm sure the game would work if I could figure out how to launch it, but I can't.
Everything worked perfectly out of the box.
If I put my Deck to sleep while the game is open and then wake it up later, the game's sound crackles until I restart it.
The game only takes up a 1280x720 area on screen, and if you tap outside of the game's area, the mouse cursor will get stuck there, and the touchpad can't move the cursor back inside it. Tapping the screen inside the visible area can get the cursor back.
Great game, runs perfectly with one small modification
This game's native build works perfectly, with one important modification.
You need to to remove the librt.so.1
library from the game's folder so that it will use your system's built-in librt.so. That's it. There are a lot of other guides here, but most of them are much more complex than necessary and will break other aspects of the game. After removing that one library, everything runs perfectly.
Other than a minor audio glitch when first starting the game, works perfectly.
Music didn't play on the title screen when I first started the game, but sound effects were fine. After starting the game, music began playing, and I haven't had any problems since then.
Seems like it's loading, then black screen
The game installs fine. When I try to run it, I get a black screen with bouncing rabites in the lower right that seems to be a "loading" screen. After several seconds, the rabites disappear and the screen just goes back. I never hear anything and it doesn't respond to any keyboard input after that.
