Tinker Steps:Custom Proton: GE-Proton9-16, protontricks Not my tutorial but from this channel here:
Launch protontricks -> select Drive Beyond -> default prefix -> install a windows DLL or component -> select vcrun2022 -> install
I do not own the full game, testing was done with the demo. Same tinkering options should work for full version as well.
Grahpic Glitches and weird fog
The game runs and you can load saves and build things but on the map and in the menus you have this weird fog all over and you can not see anything
After the new EAC update it doesn´t launch anymore :(
Today they`re release a new version of Easy Anti Cheat and now I it didn´t even start yet and open the menu. It just closed itself everytime I open it. With a new patch from yesterday everything was normal. I think we need to wait for another patch ... :/
With the normal proton experimental it didn´t start today (January 2025). If you have the problem try to switch to the 'bleeding edge' version of proton experimental. You can find it in your steam libary under: Proton Experimental -> options -> Beta -> bleeding-edge - latest and untested... .
