Just like in windows
When alt-tabbing game goes black screen. (maybe it's because I'm using dwm), But there's no issues with borderless mode.
Well, if you don't bother lowering resolution and don't want to use windows at all you still can play this game.
-dx12
Same thing as usual: game crash when switching tags in my wm (or just alt-tabbing)
Expirienced a significant perfomance hit. I was able to play at stable 60 fps when set all settings to low and lower resolution with proton whereas I can set High or Medium-High with Full HD and get smooth 60 on Windows.
Game has crashed once during my three hour playthrough. Interestingly enough, when I killed the game, audio was still playing.
Don't expect a great perfomance.
Switched to wayland and suddenly perfomance hit has disappeared. Game runs as it would on windows.
gamemoderun VKD3D_CONFIG=dxr11 PROTON_CONFIG=dxr11 %command% -skipStartScreen -dx12
The perfomance is really great. Game is stable and playable. So, from my experience, if game runs badly and you're still on Xorg, try running it on Wayland. Also, launch options did nothing to improve/decrease perfomance.
Suddenly, when I tried to turn off VSync the game just crashed.
This game requires no tinkering at all. Though, a limit of 30 fps by default caught me off guard, considering the game runs fine on 60 on max settings with occasinal, insignificant drops which, giving my hardware, pretty much expected
