The splash screen appears when starting, but I get a dialog with Fatal Error and the game closes.
I tried different proton versions including Experimental, 7.0-3, and 6.3-8 but they all have the same issue.
Works flawlessly just like on Windows
I haven't played too much as I already beat the game on windows, but the game worked very smoothly and I had absolutely no issues.
Works out of the box with no issues
I have intel graphics and I'm surprised on how well it's running. It's at a stable 1080p60 which is impressive, but given the graphics it's not too surprising.
Crackling when the action gets a little intense
Everytime I played, I got either a black screen when loading a level, or the loading screen somehow is stuck.. If I do get into a game, it works for a while, but then freezes entirely. This is for both single and multiplayer.
The game will not run except with Proton Experimental and DX12
The game rarely gets out of the loading screen for me. Sometimes it's like the game is playing (I can hear ingame audio) but I'm still in the loading screen. One time I got into a game and I clipped through the floor. Another few times the game completely froze. I was never able to complete a full game
Considering the positive feedback that others are getting with this game on Linux, I am starting to think that it might be my hardware which is a little old.
