Too many crashes, so it's unplayable atm.
Can't even play through the Intro using Proton Stable, Experimental and GE

I think the easiest way to get this game running is to download both the 1.05 patch (https://www.moddb.com/games/knights-of-honor/downloads/knights-of-honor-v105-patch), then the HD patche (https://www.moddb.com/mods/knights-of-honor-ultimate-mod/downloads/hd-patch-only-310-full-hd-frende), install protontricks if you don't have it. Right click on the patch exes, select the KoH prefix, install the patches, apply the launch options and enjoy the game after that. If you started the game, remember to delete the ini file as mentioned in another report.
Played the native version for years without problems. Switched to new hardware and the problems started. Switching to Proton solved ALL issues. Perfect experience all in all and better (graphics) than the native version ever was.
