Works perfectly ootb without any kind of tinkering. I usually run games with gamemoderun by default but it should work well without. I have no problem at 2k@144fps and the occasional stuttering I was used to playing this game on windows is gone.
Installed the game directly through Battle net installed in Lutris. Added a separate entry for Diablo IV.
I had to change in the lutris config the GPU from "Radeon RX 7900 GRE" to "AMD Radeon Graphics" as I was encountering a pop up saying "Your GPU is unsupported". Without this step the game was slow and very stuttering. I couldn't even move around the main menu.

Played the Epic version of the game installed with Lutris. I was able to play without any issue.

I logged with my Paradox account and cloud saves worked between desktop computer and Steam Deck.
