Game runs perfectly. For some reason Proton Experimental bleeding edge would not play cutscenes properly but you can skip them
REFramework disables Capcoms anti tamper software. This removes all stutters and improves frametime. This does not fix the performance but helps a lot.
Use the nightly build from Github. Just place the dinput8.dll from the zip file in your game folder directory
You will often see polygon NPCs and low resolution environement textures rendering during fast travel or loading into new areas. Cutscenes also load low resolution enviroment and background textures.
The game uses both Denuvo and Capcoms owns anti tamper software. Moving the camera, loading new areas, before and after cutscenes, would stutter/freeze my game everytime. Worst case it would crash my whole desktop enviroment and require a system reboot.
REFramework mod disables Capcoms anti tamper software and removed stuttering for me
I've had a crash every hour in my first 50h of playthrough. It would crash my whole desktop enviroment and require a system reboot.
After using REFramework and lowering textures from High to Medium settings, the game is a lot more stable and I've had no crashes since.
You can tinker with custom graphic settings, but I recommend medium settings for best stability. Highest and High presets would crash my game with REFramework mod or negatively impact performance.
The game has a VRAM issue. It lists in the settings that it uses less VRAM than what MangoHUD displays in game by +3GB VRAM or more.
